El Cielo Feat. Gareth Koch

by All India Radio

El Cielo 03:24

El Cielo is my tribute to the spaghetti western and noir movies of Sergio Leone and Quentin Tarantino and was inspired by the desolate but beautiful landscapes on the drive through Nevada during the band's US tour in 2007 with Signal Hill.

The track features a beautiful nylon string guitar arpeggio by Australian classical guitarist Gareth Koch.

It's also a kind of sequel to ‘Mexicola’ from the album Echo Other. In fact I sampled the drums from that song because nothing else I tried worked as well!
